Insight:AKRON slated to introduce top new leaders to Akron in 2010

In 2008, Leadership Akron introduced a one-day program, “insight:AKRON”, to provide a full-day community orientation for senior executives who are new to the Akron area. Through an interactive day of site visits, presentations, and hands-on activities, insight:AKRON offers the perfect opportunity for senior executives to “hit the ground running” in the Akron community. With insight:AKRON, executives can expedite the process of networking, learning, and getting involved in the Akron community. Participants are recommended by their employers based on their seniority level, prospective impact as a community leader, and their potential to benefit from the program.

This year the program will be facilitated by new Leadership Akron Board Chair Marty Hauser ‘95, President of SummaCare, Inc. insight:AKRON will take place on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. with a welcome reception to follow directly after from 5:30p.m. to 7:30p.m.
