Read to Lead Program
Launches!
We are excited to announce an exciting new feature that
Leadership Akron and the Akron-Summit County Public Library have
developed. Each month, a Leadership Akron Alumni’s “best read”
will be featured on the Akron-Summit County Public LIbrary’s website. We look
to this feature to be a virtual sharing of insights from our
community leaders and the books that inspire them.
more Leadership Akron Holiday Food Drive Benefits Akron Canton Regional Foodbank Leadership Akron’s Alumni collected 2,774 lbs. of food and $6,466 to benefit the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank at its Annual Holiday Party and New Class Reception. more Arts and Culture Day - December 9, 2009 “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” should have been the theme of the day... more An “Awesome Day” with JLA The Junior Leadership Akron History and Culture Day may have been more aptly called “Awesome Day.” We toured places every Akronite should know and love, including; the Akron Zoo, Weathervane, the Civic, Stan Hywet, the main library, and Summit Art Space.
